Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026
1. What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account (name, email), the meeting audio, transcripts, and metadata Rynote generates when it joins a meeting on your behalf, and basic usage data about how you use the product.
2. How we use it
We use your data to run the service — joining meetings, generating transcripts and summaries, and providing your account and billing history. We don't sell your data.
3. Meeting data and third-party platforms
When Rynote joins a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams call on your behalf, it accesses the audio of that call to produce a transcript and summary. That data is processed to generate your meeting notes and is stored on your account until you delete it.
4. AI processing
Transcripts and summaries are generated using AI models. Meeting content may be processed by our AI providers to generate this output; it is not used to train models outside of providing your results.
5. Data retention
We retain your meeting transcripts and summaries until you delete them or close your account. You can delete individual meetings or your entire account at any time.
6. Sharing
We share data with the service providers that help us run Rynote — hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and the AI providers used to generate transcripts and summaries — under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information protected.
8. Your rights
You can access or delete your account data at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to Account settings and confirm the deletion — see our step-by-step guide if you need it. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run the service. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. Continued use of Rynote after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
